Funky "O" Scarves

I have been obsessed for quite sometime with "O"/infinity scarves (basically scarves with no end). I bought a deep plum one from Target a year ago and wear it all the time! It's so comfy since its made from a cotton jersey and really light so I can wear it all year round. I got to thinking to myself one day at church while wearing my fave scarf...."I could totally make these and have a plethora of wonderful scarves at my disposal!" So that is what I did, I went to Jo-Ann's and they had the some funky jersey material on sale for around $3.00 a yard! So I bought a yard of each of my faves and their the fabric sat for months ;). Until this past week when I was determined to get through some of the sewing projects I had to do!

This is how they turned out!!

{ Super fun and funky for spring huh!!? These are so super easy to make you could do it blind-folded!}

Directions:

1. Acquire 1 yard of cotton jersey material.
2. Cut 2 10in. by 1 yard strips
3. Sew one width side and both length sides together inside out.
4. Flip right side in.
5. Place previously sewn width edge into the un-sewn width edge creating a sandwich.
6. Turn raw edges of the un-sewn edge in creating a covered edge.
7. Pin together to prevent fabric from slipping.
8. Sew down the middle of both edges to secure your "O".
9. Wear it all around town!!

So what do you guys think? This was such a fun and rewarding project my brain is already turning on what I am going to wear them with! Also I was thinking this would be such a great gift for a friend or for Mother's Day, and super inexpensive it cost me $3.00 for each scarf that's cheaper than 75% off at a department store!
